Geschichte
Das Bistum Eséka wurde am 22. März 1993 durch Papst Johannes Paul II. mit der Apostolischen Konstitution Pro gravissimo aus Gebietsabtretungen des Erzbistums Douala errichtet und diesem als Suffraganbistum unterstellt.[1]
