Jason Goldwatch
Jason Goldwatch (* 1. September 1976 in San Francisco) ist ein US-amerikanischer Regisseur, der vor allem für seine Musikvideos und Werbespots sowie Dokumentarfilme über die Hip-Hop-Szene bekannt ist.
Leben
Goldwatch besuchte in seiner Heimatstadt die Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts (SOTA) und danach das California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) im Los Angeles County. Er arbeitete für verschiedene Produktionsstudios, unter anderem kam er durch Spike Jonze zu Satellite Films. Danach tourte er als Videograf der Hip-Hop-Band Dilated Peoples.[1] 2002 schloss er sich mit Peter Bittenbender zusammen, mit dem er 2002 in New York City das Kreativstudio und Plattenlabel Decon, bei dem er selbst als geschäftsführender, künstlerischer Leiter tätig ist.[2] Er ist bekannt für zahlreiche Arbeiten mit bekannten Künstlern und Produzenten.[3]
