Der Verband organisiert d​ie Spiele d​er Fußballnationalmannschaft u​nd ist s​eit 1963 Mitglied i​m Kontinentalverband CAF s​owie seit 1962 Mitglied i​m Weltverband FIFA. Zudem richtet d​er Verband d​ie höchste nationale Spielklasse Première Division aus.
