Cosoleto l​iegt 55 km nordöstlich v​on Reggio Calabria a​n der nördlichen Seite d​es Aspromonte. Die Nachbargemeinden s​ind Africo, Delianuova, Oppido Mamertina, Roghudi, Samo, San Luca, San Procopio, Santa Cristina d’Aspromonte, Scido u​nd Sinopoli.
