Geschichte
Das Bistum Yoro wurde am 19. September 2005 durch Papst Benedikt XVI. mit der Apostolischen Konstitution Ad efficacius[1] aus Gebietsabtretungen des Erzbistums Tegucigalpa errichtet und diesem als Suffraganbistum unterstellt.
