Geschichte
Das Bistum Ngaoundéré wurde am 19. November 1982 durch Papst Johannes Paul II. mit der Apostolischen Konstitution Qui in beatissimi aus Gebietsabtretungen des Erzbistums Garoua errichtet und diesem als Suffraganbistum unterstellt.[1]
