Geschichte
Das Bistum Monze wurde am 10. März 1962 durch Papst Johannes XXIII. mit der Apostolischen Konstitution Evangelium salutis aus Gebietsabtretungen des Erzbistums Lusaka errichtet und diesem als Suffraganbistum unterstellt.
