Ave (Subregion)
Die Region Ave ist eine statistische portugiesische Subregion und Teil der Região Norte. Während die Mehrzahl der Kreise zum Distrikt Braga gehören, ist Mondim de Basto dem Distrikt Vila Real zugeordnet. Im Nordwesten grenzt Ave an Cávado, im Nordosten an Alto Tâmega, im Südosten an Douro, im Süden an Tâmega e Sousa und im Südwesten an die Metropolregion Porto.
