Hauptwirtschaftsfaktor von Arbog ist die Landwirtschaft.

Im Jahre 2005 wurde in Arborg zum ersten Mal in Manitoba ein Biodiesel-Kraftwerk gebaut, genannt Bifrost Bio-Blends. Der Hauptkunde des Kraftwerkes ist Manitoba Hydro.[3]
