Geschichte

1966 errichtete man Hausbaukombinat Kaunas (Kauno namų statybos kombinatas). 1977 baute man 132.000 m² Wohnhausfläche. Am 23. Januar 1991 wurde Kauno valstybinis statybos kombinatas registriert.[3] Am 4. Januar 1993 wurde AB „YIT Kausta“ registriert.[4] Man baute in Russland, Belarus, Litauen (Wohnviertel Šilainiai in Kaunas). 1998 kaufte „YIT Corporation“ 6.560.800 (65,6 %) Aktien von AB „Kausta“. 2004 wurde „Kausta“ zu AB „YIT Kausta“ und das Tochterunternehmen UAB „Alkausta“ zu UAB „YIT Kausta būstas“. 2005 baute man das Einkaufs- und Freizeitzentrum "Mega" in Kaunas. 2007 beschäftigte man 946 Mitarbeiter. 2014 gab es 383 Mitarbeiter.[5]
