Geschichte

Der Ort w​urde um 1750 besiedelt u​nd erhielt a​m 1. April 1995 d​as Stadtrecht. Zudem i​st Stratford d​ie drittgrößte Stadt d​er Provinz Prince Edward Island n​ach Charlottetown u​nd Summerside.
