Geschichte
Gegründet wurde das Plattenlabel Anfang 2015 von Birgitt Schwanke, seit 2002 Inhaberin der PR-Agentur GerMusica, ehemalige Inhaberin des Musikmagazins Rock It! und Mitinhaberin des Yesterrock-Labels. Der physische Vertrieb für in Deutschland und Österreich wird von der Soulfood Music Distribution GmbH übernommen. In Skandinavien ist Border Music und im Vereinigten Königreich Cargo Records für den vertrieb verantwortlich.[1]
Portfolio
Pride & Joy Music haben sich spezialisiert auf die Genres Classic Rock, AOR, traditioneller Hard Rock, 1980er Heavy Metal, Power Metal, Symphonic Metal, (Melodic) Gothic Rock und Metal sowie Modern (Melodic) Hard Rock. Zu den Künstlern des Labels gehören unter anderem Asgard, Black Majesty, Bonfire, Tina Schüssler[2], Dominoe, Eigensinn, Hartmann, Squealer und Tragedian. Zudem veröffentlichte das Label den Backkatalog der deutschen Power-Metal-Band Empire.
