Geschichte
Die Georgia General Assembly gründete Palmetto 1854 als Stadt.[1] Die Gemeinde wurde nach dem Palmetto Regiment, einem Infanterie-Regiment aus dem Mexikanisch-Amerikanischen Krieg benannt.[2]
