Die Irish League 1919/20 war die 26. Spielzeit der höchsten gesamtirischen Fußballliga. Während der letzten vier Jahre wurde die Meisterschaft wegen des Ersten Weltkriegs offiziell eingestellt.

Belfast Celtic wurde zum dritten Mal Meister. Der Klub zog sich jedoch nach den gewalttätigen Vorfällen im Halbfinale des Irish-Cups aus der Irish-League zurück.
Modus
Acht Mannschaften spielten an insgesamt 14 Spieltagen aufgeteilt in einer Hin- und einer Rückrunde jeweils zwei Mal gegeneinander. Die beiden Dubliner Klub Bohemians und Shelbourne traten anschließend in der League of Ireland an.
