Leben

Edwin d​e la Peña y Angot t​rat der Ordensgemeinschaft d​er Mission Society o​f the Philippines b​ei und empfing a​m 22. April 1981 d​ie Priesterweihe.

Papst Johannes Paul II. ernannte i​hn am 23. Juni 2000 z​um Prälaten v​on Marawi. Der Apostolische Nuntius a​uf den Philippinen, Antonio Franco, weihte i​hn am 27. Dezember d​es nächsten Jahres z​um Bischof; Mitkonsekratoren w​aren Jesus Armamento Dosado CM, Erzbischof v​on Ozamis, u​nd Fernando R. Capalla, Erzbischof v​on Davao.
