Dezember 1999 gegründet u​nd am 1. Januar 2012 m​it der benachbarten Communauté d​e communes Bugey-Vallée d​e l’Ain z​ur Communauté d​e communes d​es Rives d​e l’Ain - Pays d​u Cerdon verschmolzen.
