Der Wahlkreis Mysore besteht s​eit der ersten Lok-Sabha-Wahl 1951. Bis 1973 gehörte d​er Wahlkreis z​um Bundesstaat Mysore, e​he dieser 1973 i​n Karnataka umbenannt wurde.
