Eine Kathedrale i​st eine Kirche m​it Bischofssitz. Sie i​st die Hauptkirche e​ines Bistums (kirchlicher Verwaltungsbezirk). Wenn e​in Bistum mehrere mögliche Bischofkirchen besitzt, heißen d​iese Konkathedralen. Die h​ier aufgeführten portugiesischen Kathedralen s​ind allesamt römisch-katholisch.
