Mit Wirkung vom 1. Januar 2016 wurden die früheren Gemeinden Damville, Condé-sur-Iton, Gouville, Manthelon, Le Sacq und Le Roncenay-Authenay zu einer Commune nouvelle mit dem Namen Mesnils-sur-Iton zusammengelegt. Die Gemeinde Le Roncenay-Authenay gehörte zum Arrondissement Évreux, zum Kanton Verneuil-sur-Avre und zum Kommunalverband Normandie Sud Eure.
