Helene Udy
Helene Udy (* 1. November 1962 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA) ist eine amerikanisch-britische Filmschauspielerin, Drehbuchautorin, Regisseurin und Filmproduzentin, die in Kalifornien lebt. Aufgewachsen ist sie in Montreal, Kanada als Tochter des Universitätsprofessors und Städteplaners John Udy und der früheren Offizierin Mya Pilpoul. Ihre Mutter Mya war Sergeant Major bei der israelischen Armee, als sie John Udy traf, der als Städteplaner in Äthiopien arbeitete. Sie verließ die Armee und brannte mit John Udy durch.[1] Helene Udy begann schon als Kind in Kanada mit der Schauspielerei. Ihre Schwester Claudia Udy ist ebenfalls Schauspielerin. In Deutschland ist Helene Udy vor allem bekannt durch ihre Rolle als „Myra Bing“ in der Serie Dr. Quinn – Ärztin aus Leidenschaft.[2][3]
