Das British Matchplay 1977 war ein von der British Darts Organisation (BDO) veranstaltetes Dartsturnier, das in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk (England), zum zweiten Mal ausgetragen und vom Fernsehsender Anglia übertragen wurde. Im Finale konnte der Schotte Rab Smith den Engländer Eric Bristow mit 4:0 besiegen.
