Aloísio Sinésio Bohn

Aloísio Sinésio Bohn (* 11. September 1934 in Montenegro) ist ein brasilianischer Geistlicher und römisch-katholischer Altbischof von Santa Cruz do Sul.

Leben

Aloísio Sinésio Bohn empfing am 23. Dezember 1961 die Priesterweihe.

Papst Paul VI. ernannte ihn am 27. Juni 1977 zum Weihbischof in Brasília und Titularbischof von Abbir Germaniciana. Der Erzbischof von Porto Alegre, Alfredo Vicente Kardinal Scherer, spendete ihm am 9. September desselben Jahres die Bischofsweihe; Mitkonsekratoren waren José Newton de Almeida Baptista, Erzbischof von Brasília, und Geraldo do Espírito Santo Ávila, Weihbischof in Brasília.

Papst Johannes Paul II. ernannte ihn am 13. Februar 1980 zum ersten Bischof des wenige Tage zuvor errichteten Bistums Novo Hamburgo. Am 27. Juni 1986 wurde er zum Bischof von Santa Cruz do Sul ernannt. Am 19. Mai 2010 nahm Papst Benedikt XVI. sein altersbedingtes Rücktrittsgesuch an.
