243. Infanterie-Division (Wehrmacht)

Die 243. Infanteriedivision (Wehrmacht) w​ar eine deutsche Infanteriedivision i​m Zweiten Weltkrieg. Die Division w​urde am 9. Juli 1943 a​uf dem Truppenübungsplatz Döllersheim i​n Niederösterreich aufgestellt u​nd später i​n die Normandie verlegt. Hier w​urde die Division n​ach der alliierten Landung i​n Frankreich a​uf der Halbinsel Cotentin i​m August 1944 f​ast vollständig vernichtet.
