243. Infanterie-Division (Wehrmacht)
Die 243. Infanteriedivision (Wehrmacht) war eine deutsche Infanteriedivision im Zweiten Weltkrieg. Die Division wurde am 9. Juli 1943 auf dem Truppenübungsplatz Döllersheim in Niederösterreich aufgestellt und später in die Normandie verlegt. Hier wurde die Division nach der alliierten Landung in Frankreich auf der Halbinsel Cotentin im August 1944 fast vollständig vernichtet.
