Waleri Michailowitsch Schawyrin
Waleri Michailowitsch Schawyrin (russisch Валерий Михайлович Шавырин; * 27. Januar 1953 in Suchoi Log, Oblast Swerdlowsk) ist ein russischer Schachkomponist und Ingenieur der Mechanik.

Als er 15 Jahre alt war begann er, sich für Schachkompositionen zu interessieren. Er bevorzugt Drei- und Vierzüger. 2007 wurde ihm der Titel Großmeister für Schachkomposition[1] verliehen.
