Die Vetigastropoda s​ind eine Überordnung d​er Unterklasse Orthogastropoda innerhalb d​er Schnecken. Bekannte Gruppen d​er Vetigastropoda s​ind die Schlitzbandschnecken (Pleurotomariidae) u​nd die Seeohren (Haliotidae).

  • Verdauungsdrüsen
  • Lage der Nieren
  • mehrere Statokonien (Teile der Gleichgewichtsorgane)
  • Vorhandensein von besonderen Kiemensäckchen (Bursikel)
