Das U2-Album U218 Singles beinhaltet eine Auswahl von 16 Singles und zwei neuen Songs.
Hintergrund
Aufgenommen wurden die beiden Songs im September des Jahres 2006 in den Londoner Abbey Road Studios. Produziert wurden die neuen Titel von Rick Rubin, der Song The Saints Are Coming ist zusammen mit Green Day zugunsten der Opfer des Hurrikans Katrina eingespielt worden. Der zweite neue Song auf dem Album ist Window in the Skies. Beide neuen Songs wurden dann ebenfalls als Single veröffentlicht. Die im Vereinigten Königreich verkaufte Version des Albums enthält zusätzlich als neunzehnten Track I Will Follow.
