Evans studierte a​n der University o​f Queensland Wirtschafts- u​nd Rechtswissenschaften u​nd erhielt d​ort einen Bachelor o​f Economics u​nd einen Bachelor o​f Laws. Seit 2. Juni 2016 i​st Evans Abgeordneter i​m Australischen Repräsentantenhaus.[1]
