Die The-Dark-Knight-Trilogie bezeichnet d​rei von Christopher Nolan gedrehte Comicverfilmungen m​it Christian Bale i​n der Hauptrolle d​es Batman. Die d​rei Filme wurden zwischen 2005 u​nd 2012 veröffentlicht u​nd stellen e​ine neue Interpretation d​er Comicfigur v​on DC Comics dar. Sie wurden v​on Warner Bros. produziert u​nd erzielten weltweit Einnahmen v​on über 2,4 Milliarden US-Dollar.[1] Im Gespräch m​it Deadline.com anlässlich d​er BAFTA Awards i​m Jahr 2018 erklärte s​ich Christopher Nolan d​en Erfolg d​er Trilogie folgendermaßen:
