Stockholm Environment Institute
Das Stockholm Environment Institute (kurz SEI) ist ein internationales Forschungsinstitut für Umweltfragen. Das Institut arbeitet in Umwelt- und Entwicklungsfragen auf lokaler, nationaler und globaler Ebene. Es hat Niederlassungen in Stockholm, York, Oxford, Tallinn, den USA, Bangkok, Nairobi, Bogotá und Berlin.
Das SEI wurde im Oktober 1989 von der schwedischen Regierung gegründet. Ziel des Instituts ist es, Politik und Wissenschaft im Sinne einer nachhaltigen Entwicklung zusammenzubringen. Das Institut erstellt Analysen für Entscheidungsträger.[1]
