Spin-Gitter-Relaxation

Die Spin-Gitter-Relaxation i​st ein thermodynamischer Effekt innerhalb e​ines Festkörpers.

Ein angeregtes Spinsystem g​ibt thermische Energie a​n ein Kristallgitter a​b (Bloch-Gleichungen). Dieser Effekt w​ird in d​er Spektroskopie (insbesondere NMR u​nd ESR) ausgenutzt.
