Luo Yu gewann 2010 den Indonesia Open Grand Prix Gold im Damendoppel mit ihrer Zwillingsschwester Luo Ying. Bei den Canada Open 2011 wurde sie im Damendoppel Dritte, bei den US Open 2011 Fünfte.
