Ketoglutarsäure
Die Ketoglutarsäure ist eine sich von der Glutarsäure (Pentandisäure) ableitende Dicarbonsäure, die als funktionelle Gruppe zusätzlich eine Ketogruppe hat. Sie tritt in zwei isomeren Formen auf:
- α-Ketoglutarsäure (2-Oxoglutarsäure, 2-Oxopentandisäure) und
- β-Ketoglutarsäure (3-Oxoglutarsäure, 3-Oxopentandisäure, Acetondicarbonsäure).
