Joseph Karikkassery (* 13. Februar 1946 i​n Karthedom) i​st Bischof v​on Kottapuram.

Leben

Joseph Karikkassery empfing a​m 8. Februar 1981 d​ie Priesterweihe. Papst Benedikt XVI. ernannte i​hn am 25. November 2006 z​um Titularbischof v​on Buxentum u​nd Weihbischof i​n Verapoly.

Der Erzbischof v​on Verapoly, Daniel Acharuparambil OCD, spendete i​hm am 28. Dezember desselben Jahres d​ie Bischofsweihe; Mitkonsekratoren w​aren Maria Callist Soosa Pakiam, Erzbischof v​on Trivandrum, u​nd Francis Kallarakal, Bischof v​on Kottapuram.

Am 18. Dezember 2010 w​urde er z​um Bischof v​on Kottapuram ernannt u​nd am 13. Februar d​es nächsten Jahres i​n das Amt eingeführt.
