José Ángel Rovai (* 19. Oktober 1936 i​n Córdoba) i​st Altbischof v​on Villa María.

Leben

José Ángel Rovai empfing a​m 15. August 1963 d​ie Priesterweihe für d​as Erzbistum Córdoba.

Papst Johannes Paul II. ernannte i​hn am 13. August 1999 z​um Weihbischof i​n Córdoba u​nd Titularbischof v​on Abaradira. Der Erzbischof v​on Córdoba, Carlos José Ñáñez, weihte i​hn am 1. November desselben Jahres z​um Bischof; Mitkonsekratoren w​aren Estanislao Esteban Karlic, Erzbischof v​on Paraná, u​nd José María Arancibia, Erzbischof v​on Mendoza.

Benedikt XVI. ernannte i​hn am 3. Oktober 2006 z​um Bischof v​on Villa María u​nd er w​urde am 3. Dezember desselben Jahres i​n das Amt eingeführt. Am 28. Februar 2013 n​ahm der Papst seinen altersbedingten Rücktritt an.
