Jean Baptiste Joseph Scotto
Jean Baptiste Joseph Scotto (* 1. April 1913 in Hussein Dey, Algier; † 8. September 1993) war römisch-katholischer Bischof von Constantine.
Leben
Scotto empfing am 29. Juni 1936 das Sakrament der Priesterweihe.
Am 19. August 1970 wurde er zum Bischof von Constantine ernannt. Die Bischofsweihe spendete ihm am 3. Oktober desselben Jahres der Erzbischof von Algier, Léon-Etienne Kardinal Duval; Mitkonsekratoren war sein Vorgänger Paul-Pierre-Marie-Joseph Pinier, sowie der Weihbischof Gaston-Marie Jacquier.
Scotto blieb bis zu seiner Emeritierung am 25. März 1983 im Amt. Er starb am 8. September 1993 im Alter von 80 Jahren.
