Jakob Kennedy

Jakob Kennedy (engl. James Kennedy; gäl.: Seumas Ceanadach; * um 1408; † 24. Mai 1465) war ein schottischer Bischof im 15. Jahrhundert. 1437/38 wurde er zum Bischof von Dunkeld, 1440 wurde er zum Bischof von St Andrews. Er gründete St Salvator’s College, University of St Andrews. Auch das Grey Friars Monastery in St. Andrews geht auf ihn zurück, es wurde kurz nach 1458 gegründet. Er ließ ein Passagier- und Frachtschiff namens Saint Salvator bauen, das bis 1472 genutzt wurde.
