Irving Louis Horowitz
Irving Louis Horowitz (* 25. September 1929 in New York; † 21. März 2012 in Princeton (New Jersey)) war ein US-amerikanischer Soziologe. Von 1962 bis 1969 war er Professor für Soziologie an der Washington University in St. Louis. Seit 1969 hatte er bis zu seiner Emeritierung die Hannah-Arendt-Professur für Soziologie und politische Wissenschaften an der Rutgers University von New Jersey inne.
