Football League Third Division 1983/84

Die Football League Third Division 1983/84 war die 57. Saison der Football League Third Division als dritthöchste englische Fußballliga. Drittligameister wurde Oxford United und daneben stiegen auch die dahinter rangierenden FC Wimbledon und Sheffield United in die Football League Second Division auf. Für die drei Aufsteiger nahmen in der folgenden Drittligasaison 1984/85 die in der Tabelle unten rangierenden Zweitligisten Derby County, Swansea City und Cambridge United die Plätze ein. Aus der Third Division in die Football League Fourth Division absteigen mussten Scunthorpe United, Southend United, Port Vale und Exeter City. Anstelle dieser Vereine nahmen in der folgenden Spielzeit 1984/85 der Fourth-Division-Meister York City und die dahinter platzierten Doncaster Rovers, FC Reading sowie Bristol City die freien Positionen ein.
