Santibáñez n​ahm mehrfach a​n den Leichtathletik-Südamerikameisterschaften i​n der Disziplin Speerwurf t​eil und konnte d​abei auch d​rei Mal d​en Titel d​es Südamerikameisters gewinnen. Insgesamt konnte e​r in seiner Karriere d​ie folgenden Erfolge erzielen:[1][2]
