Deng Yingchao

Deng Yingchao (chinesisch 鄧穎超 / 邓颖超, Pinyin Dèng Yǐngchāo, W.-G. Teng Ying-ch'ao; * 4. Februar 1904; † 11. Juli 1992) war eine der wenigen prominenten Frauen in der kommunistischen revolutionären Bewegung vor der Gründung der Volksrepublik China. Die besondere Rolle Dengs gründete sich vor allem auf die Heirat mit Zhou Enlai, neben Mao Zedong die bestimmende politische Figur der Volksrepublik China bis 1976. Anders jedoch als beispielsweise bei Jiang Qing, gründete sich Dengs politische Karriere auf eine eigenständige Ausgangsposition.
