Central Belt
Central Belt, übersetzt: Zentraler Gürtel, ist der Großraum, der Glasgow und Edinburgh zusammenfasst und zu den Lowlands zählt. Jeder zweite Einwohner Schottlands lebt hier. Amts- und Bildungssprache ist schottisches Englisch, Umgangssprache ist Scots.
