Baron Shaughnessy
Baron Shaughnessy, of the City of Montreal in the Dominion of Canada and of Ashford in the County of Limerick,[1] ist ein erblicher britischer Adelstitel in der Peerage of the United Kingdom.

Verleihung
Der Titel wurde am 25. Januar 1916 für den kanadischen Eisenbahnunternehmer Thomas Shaughnessy geschaffen.[1] Er war von 1899 bis 1918 Präsident der Canadian Pacific Railway und sorgte insbesondere dafür, dass die Gesellschaft die kanadischen Kriegsanstrengungen im Ersten Weltkrieg unterstützte.
