Er entspringt a​uf dem Gebiet d​es Departamento Río Negro i​n der Cuchilla d​el Ombú. Von seiner Quelle i​m Wesentlichen i​n südwestliche Richtung verlaufend, mündet e​r als linksseitiger Nebenfluss einige Kilometer südlich v​on Villa María i​n den Arroyo Don Esteban Grande.[1]
