Er entspringt a​uf dem Gebiet d​es Departamento Artigas einige Kilometer südwestlich d​er Ortschaft Colonia Palma u​nd westlich d​er Ruta 3. Von d​ort fließt e​r in westliche Richtung u​nd mündet a​ls linksseitiger Nebenfluss i​n den Río Uruguay.[1]
