Sie gewann 1986 die Ausgabe des Marathons von Buenos Aires. Sie vertrat ihr Heimatland im Frauenmarathon bei den Olympischen Sommerspielen 1988 in Seoul, Südkorea, und belegte dort den 44. Platz.
