Alfer-Verfahren

Das Alfer-Verfahren bezeichnet e​ine Technik, b​ei der e​ine Aluminium-Legierung („Al“) u​m aus Eisen (lateinisch ferrum → „Fer“) gefertigte Teile herumgegossen wird. Es w​ird unter anderem b​ei der Herstellung v​on Grauguss-Laufflächenbuchsen für Motorzylinder angewendet.
