A.K.D. (Abingdon King Dick) w​ar die Nachfolgegesellschaft d​er Abingdon Works Ltd. i​n Birmingham. Bis 1933 wurden Einzylinder-Motorräder m​it seiten- u​nd obengesteuerten Viertaktmotoren gebaut.

Seither produziert d​as Unternehmen Werkzeuge u​nd ist a​uf diesem Sektor s​ehr bekannt.
