Winifer Fernández wurde 2010 bei der NORCECA U18-Meisterschaft zur besten Abwehrspielerin, zur besten Annahmespielerin und zur besten Libera gewählt.[1] 2012 hatte sie ihre ersten Einsätze in der A-Nationalmannschaft.
