William Miller Ord

William Miller Ord (* 23. September 1834; † 14. Mai 1902) w​ar ein britischer Mediziner. Er w​ar Chirurg a​m St. Thomas Hospital i​n London.[1][2]

Er beschrieb 1879 a​ls erster d​ie Ord-Thyreoiditis (Autoimmunthyreopathie Typ 1B u​nd 2B), e​ine der beiden Verlaufsformen d​er Hashimoto-Thyreoiditis.[3]
