Leben

Koestenbaum studierte Anglistik a​n der Harvard University, a​n der Johns Hopkins University u​nd an d​er Princeton University. Als Hochschullehrer i​st er a​n der City University o​f New York tätig. Koestenbaum schrieb mehrere Biografien u​nd verfasste lyrische Werke, Romane u​nd ein Opernlibretto.
